Honoring Commitment

PCCA’s Canadian Compounding Technician of the Year award is presented annually to a compounding technician who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, skill and innovation in their field, and has a passion for providing the highest-quality patient care. The individual who receives this award displays leadership within the pharmacy and actively promotes compounding to their community, peers and other healthcare providers.

The compounding technician is:

• Recognized as a leader within the pharmacy team
• Has the highest ethical standards
• Embodies the pharmacy’s vision by participating in compounding growth strategies and quality programs
• Exhibits innovation in the clinical field, business practice and/or marketing
• Engaged with their provincial and/or local technician associations/groups
• A lifelong learner, engaging with PCCA education programs and seeking opportunities to learn
• Willing to network and share compounding concepts with fellow PCCA members
