State regulation of compounding pharmacies

The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCLS) says laws and regulations guiding pharmacy standards and requirements—including independent community pharmacies [compounding pharmacies], large pharmacy chains, in-store pharmacies, health system pharmacies and, specialty pharmacies, and others—are regulated by each U.S. state.
